Here’s one from last fall. Our renewed site has renewed my interest in photography and I’ve been looking through a lot of my photos. I saw this in a group taken last fall that I didn’t really pay much attention to then. I cropped to focus interest and boosted color and contrast and I really like the result. Makes me wonder how many good photographs I’ve thrown away because I gave up on them too soon.

Older: Winter Farm
I’ve taken a fair amount of photographs of this old barn. This one may be my favorite. It’s winter in Idaho, winter is pretty bleak …
Newer: Tire
This is from that abandoned house/farm across the street. I thought it made for a good study in contrast. Round vs linear. Dark vs light.

I think that’s a good point Matt. It’s surprising how often a little judicious cropping can produce an improved image and/or add a huge amount of impact by removing an element that doesn’t help the image.
Lovely colours and reflections in your shot.
